Cyrus presented this abstract story of a women in contrsting enviornments and inner 9 wc... When I saw it, I lvoed it. Cyrus is a collaborator of mine where I we understands aesthics on a subconcious level.
To exentuate the narrative, I composed/produced sonic motifs fo reach shot water--> earth--> conrete city. Noting what tones and textures the vieewr would hear when each image appeared. As speed ensues, I focused on weaving the sounds technically via paning, levels, eq, but also harmonically to create a sound track that felt “pseudo, eletronic-- still human, listless, slightly burrdened at its core. (plus I finally go to use my jackhammer sample).
